BOULDER COUNTY, Colo. — Evacuation orders were issued Monday afternoon due to a fire burning in southeastern Boulder County. Smoke is visible from the fire in the area of Highway 287 and Dillon Road. An evacuation order for the area was issued just before 3:30 p.m.

A grass fire burning in Boulder County near the Broomfield border is moving northeast from Louisville, prompting evacuations in nearby areas.

A fast-moving brush fire near the Broomfield–Boulder county line prompted evacuation orders for parts of Louisville and Lafayette, Colorado, as strong winds spread the blaze through open space near U.

Smoke could be seen for miles around the fire, which is located between 104th Avenue and Highway 287, north of Northwest Parkway, Boulder Fire-Rescue told FOX31. An emergency alert sent to residents in the Boulder County area said an evacuation order was issued at 3:24 p.m. due to the wildfire.

BOULDER COUNTY, Colo. (KKTV) - Evacuations are underway for a wildfire in Boulder County Monday night. Around 6:30 p.m., the Boulder County Sheriff’s Office (BCSO) said first responders were on scene in the 700 block of Wild Turkey Lane, up Fourmile Canyon.
