The tree on the Blue Bayou sign makes so much more sense now 🤦‍♀️ They also featured the oak on the front of the menu in 1967. The name Blue Bayou comes from a short Disney made in 1946 which is set in a cypress swamp with egrets, so I always assumed the tree on the sign referred to that (and that may be true as well, but the dueling oak makes more sense as it is the main feature of the Blue Bayou restaurant).
